60th Anniversary Cancer Research Wales Conference

We’re celebrating our 60th anniversary with a conference showcasing the fantastic research and researchers we fund across Wales.

2026 is Cancer Research Wales’s 60th year, having been founded in 1966.

The conference will take place on Dydd Gwener 23rd Hydref 2026 at Glamorgan Cricket in Cardiff.

Abstracts and posters

Abstracts invited across all Cancer Research Wales-funded researchers. All abstracts must be accompanied by a poster and available for display on the day of the conference.

• Researchers will be invited for selected flash talks
• Poster prizes will be awarded.
• The deadline for submitting abstracts is 30 Medi 2026.
• The standard size for a research poster should be 48 inches by 36 inches (121.9 cm x 91.4 cm).
