Advanced Therapies MDRG – Dragon’s Den

This is the second part of the process for securing upto £10k seedcorn funding. Successful applicants from round one will be pitching their projects ‘Dragon’s Den’ style. Priority will be given to collaborative projects demonstrating cross theme engagement.

Advanced Therapies Wales, Cardiff ECMC and the Advanced Neurotherapies Centre support the all-Wales Advanced Therapies multi-disciplinary research group (MDRG) to encourage cross-discipline discussion and promote research collaborations.

We aim to connect pre-clinical and clinical researchers across a wide range of disciplines, through face to face meetings (with hybrid option available).

It is a forum for the Advanced Therapies research community to come together to focus ideas and strengthen relationships. Meetings will feature guest speakers to encourage active debate and knowledge sharing.

As the landscape is so broad, and we appreciate our members’ limits on availability, we have chosen to focus each monthly meeting on one of three specific topic areas rather than try to cover everything in each meeting. The topic areas are: Oncology, Neurology and Regenerative Medicine.
