SUMMARY:ATTC Network Education Day
DESCRIPTION:This education day has been organised to focus on CAR T clinical trials within the field of autoimmune conditions. \nIt aims to bring together a range of expert speakers from across Scotland and the UK\, each with significant expertise in advanced therapy clinical trials. \nThis event is hosted by the Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre (ATTC) network and the Scottish Steering Group for Advanced Therapy clinical trials\, with support from the Scottish Advanced Therapies Network. The ATTC network\, coordinated by the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult\, addresses the unique and complex challenges of bringing pioneering advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) to patients. Learn more about the ATTC network here. \nThis event aims to: \n\nRaise awareness of autoimmune CAR-T clinical trial activity in Scotland.\nEncourage recruitment to autoimmune CAR-T clinical trials and thereby improve equity access for patients throughout Scotland.\nSupport clinicians and researchers to become involved in autoimmune CAR T clinical trials.\nFoster greater awareness and patient participation in clinical trials.\n\nThe day will be made up of individual speakers and panel sessions. Attendees should expect to learn about current and future activity in Scotland for CAR T clinical trials in autoimmune conditions. \nWho should attend?\nThis event is relevant for NHS staff and researchers whose clinical work may be impacted by CAR T therapy now or in the future.
