The Midlands-Wales Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre (MW-ATTC) consists of a large regional network, with clinical sites based in Birmingham, Cardiff, Leicester, Nottingham, Swansea, Bristol and Cambridge, and aims to enable UK Advanced Therapy companies to reach the clinical market whilst simultaneously building clinical capacity and capability regionally to deliver these breakthrough therapies to patients.

The focus of Phase 2 of the programme will be on increasing activity and access of clinical trial delivery of ATMPs. Workstreams identified for this include acceleration of clinical trials, workforce development, and data collection. MW-ATTC will continue to participate as a core centre in the network, and will lead on patient and public involvement.
